Advisory Group Industry (AGI)
ECO Platform supports sustainable development in the construction industry by providing reliable, verified product data for life-cycle assessments (LCA) of buildings and infrastructure projects. A key element in this effort is the Advisory Group Industry (AGI), a forum created specifically for industry representatives.
What is the AGI?
The AGI consists of experts from manufacturing companies and trade associations who work together to shape market-relevant topics related to LCA data. It serves as an advisory body within the ECO Platform, bringing the “industry voice” to the table. Its role is to address market needs and represent the perspectives of Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) owners.
Membership in the AGI
Industry members of ECO Platform - including manufacturers and industry associations - are automatically part of the AGI. The AGI provides a platform for these members to contribute their expertise and market knowledge, helping to shape the strategic direction of the ECO Platform.
Benefits for AGI Members
As a member of the AGI, you have the opportunity to:
- Elaborate on market developments: The AGI offers a forum to develop industry-wide positions on LCA data and helps guide the ECO Platform’s agenda based on market demands.
- Professional exchange: AGI members can engage with peers in discussions aimed at promoting LCA data and standards.
- Representation at the leadership level: Two AGI representatives are nominated to the Board of Directors of the ECO Platform, where they represent the interests of the industry.
