ECO Platform Standards:
The ECO Platform Standards encompass all documents that form the foundational regulations of ECO Platform. These standards primarily address technical aspects but also cover topics such as Quality Management (QM) Guidelines and Audit Guidelines. The documents are primarily intended for ECO EPD programme operators and their verifiers.
Previous versions of the documents are available at the bottom of the page. For details on the scope of application and implementation periods of earlier versions, please refer to the ECO Platform Standards "General Remarks" document.
Update on the ECO Platform Standards Revision 2025
We would like to inform our community that the planned publication of the revised ECO Platform Standards, originally scheduled for 20 December, will be postponed.
During the internal consultation period, we received an exceptionally high number of valuable and detailed comments. To ensure that all feedback is treated with the necessary diligence - and that the updated documents remain fully consistent, technically accurate, and aligned across all chapters - additional technical resources are required.
Our highest priority now is to secure this expertise, complete the review, and streamline the documents so that the revised Standards meet the quality level expected by our members and stakeholders.
We will share a new publication timeline as soon as possible and appreciate your understanding and continued engagement.
